1 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp coconut sugar
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 tsp maple extract
1/4 cup unsweetened almond milk
4 pieces cinnamon raisin Ezekiel Bread
Peanut Butter Topping:
1 TBS natural peanut Butter
1 TBS pure or sugar free maple syrup
Microwave peanut butter and syrup together and stir until well incorporated.
DIRECTIONS:
1.) Mix all the french toast ingredients together with a blender and then pour into a large bowl.
2.) Heat a pan on medium heat and put 1 tsp of coconut oil in the pan or non-stick cooking spray.
3.) Place one slice of bread into the batter. Submerge or flip the bread to make sure it is fully coated.
4.) Place piece of coated bread into pan and allow to cook (2-3 minutes). Flip bread over and continue to let cook another (2-3 minutes). Repeat three more times for remaining bread.
5.) Top the french toast with peanut butter topping.
